The Metra Workplace Lockers solution provides smart office lockers for EY employees in various EY offices in Europe. The employees use their personal access cards to use and manage (e.g. occupy and release) their lockers for short-term periods. The employee can select and occupy a preferred vacant locker for the day via the 10′ Metra Touch Display located on the locker bank. If an employee is not near the preferred locker bank, he/she can occupy a vacant locker from the smart phone, via the Metra mobile app (for ex.  when at home in the morning or while commuting to office). Metra smart locks unlock and pop open locker doors, minimizing the user’s interaction and touches with the locker for a more hygienic use.
