Our smart locker system manages over 15.000 smart employee lockers at various office buildings of NSW governmental agency in Australia. Employees use their access media, cards and badged, to use their personal long-term lockers. Beside using access cards or badges, they can also fully remotely use and manage their lockers with their smart phones (via the Metra mobile app).
NSW government was committed to use the sustainable and environmentally-friendly solution for their smart employee lockers in their offices, which helped them lower their carbon footprint. They also didn’t want to put themselves in position to be obliged to buy, change and dispose tens of thousands of harmful lock batteries, which would cause significant time resources, and during which the employee lockers could not be used.
